Scott has over twenty years of ministry experience. While pursuing his education at Christ for the Nations and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Scott began a speaking ministry traveling with groups like Mercy Me and Chris Tomlin. After ten years on the road, Scott built two thriving college/young adult ministries; one at Texas State University and the other at Lakewood Church where they served with Joel Osteen for over 5 years. Scott has been a regular speaker at young adult gatherings around the nation. Scott currently serves as Senior Pastors at New River Fellowship in the Dallas Fort Worth area. Scott and his wife Renee have three boys along with their little girl who truly is the life of the household.

 

Scott says, "I love teaching. Get me on stage with an energetic group of people, the party is on! I enjoy all sports; snowboarding, tennis, wakeboarding, golf. I enjoy hunting and fishing as well. I have a motorcycle and like long rides on smooth roads. Anything with my family. There is nothing like doing life with good people."
